Yes. The Windows version with Gmail invoice sending is 100% free — no time limits, no feature locks, no hidden fees. A paid Pro version will add support for all email providers and advanced features, but the free version will always be free.
On your computer. The app uses a local SQLite database stored wherever you choose — your hard drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, wherever. We never see your data. Ever.
There's no official Mac or Linux build planned. That said, FreelanceTimer.pro is a Python app and the source code is fully open on GitHub. If you're comfortable running Python locally, you can clone the repo and run it on Mac or Linux — it's not a supported path, but it works. Windows users get the polished installer version free as our thank-you for being early adopters.
Absolutely. Generate professional PDF invoices with your company branding, hourly rates, and detailed time breakdowns. Email them directly to clients from the app.
For the free version, yes — Gmail SMTP is the only supported email provider. The paid Pro version will support Outlook, Yahoo, and custom SMTP servers. You can always generate a PDF and send it manually from any email client.
